Kitchen Sales Designer

Do you love sales and design?

Somrak Kitchens, an independent luxury retail kitchen and bath dealer has an opening for an experienced kitchen and bath sales designer. Candidate should be sales driven with a creative, energetic, and enthusiastic side and a passion to provide outstanding customer service using problem solving skills. Excellent verbal and listening along with written communication skill set necessary.

You will be working in a luxury showroom designing with high end products using the top vendors in the world and associating with like-minded designers to bounce around your ideas for higher-end clientele. Showroom floor time and office hours are required along with outside sales calls expected.

Individual should be competent in kitchen design, floorplanning, writing cabinet orders and have the ability to review a factory order acknowledgement. Experience in remodeling and construction is a plus.

– Bachelor or Associates degree in Interior design or equivalent.
– Minimum two years’ experience in residential kitchen cabinet sales required.
– NKBA certification or education

Administrative Sales Design Assistant

Somrak Kitchens, a leading design firm located on the East side of Cleveland has an immediate opening for a full or part time energetic and enthusiastic administrative sales design assistant. Candidate should be highly organized and accurate with a degree in interior design, or working toward their degree in interior design. They should be capable of multi-tasking and engaging high end clientele with superior customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication is a must. You should have a passion for wanting to provide clients with an exceptional experience, and possess an outgoing personality to greet clients in the showroom as well as over the phone. A desire to progress into a future top sales designer within 12 months should be your goal.

This is a front desk meet and greet position that requires some office administration duties. You will be assisting some of the top designers in the Cleveland Area.

Current Auto Cad experience in residential or commercial design required
R
Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products
R
Experience in 3-D design programs a bonus

Position will interface with designers, clients, project manager, and office manager, to aid in producing Auto Cad drawings (floor plans, elevations and 3-D design), pricing and Procuring/ ordering materials, tracking orders and factory order acknowledgements.

Opening and closing the showroom, keeping the showroom samples and literature current, tracking staffing and developing leads in the showroom are some of the duties you will be asked to oversee.

Current experience of Auto Cad, with attention to detail, Microsoft office including excel a must. Any general office skills would be a bonus. Experience in the kitchen industry or residential design industry is a plus. This would also be a great opportunity for a graduating senior from one of the design programs in Cleveland.
