As a team member you will be working in a beautiful office environment and high-end showroom with the samples you need to design and sell, surrounded by creative designers to bounce off your ideas.

A Somrak sales associate exudes enthusiasm, excitement and the energy to be sales driven with a passion for outstanding customer service. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, a self- starter, with excellent listening and communication skills, and is able to work with a limited degree of supervision.

Responsibilities will include prospecting, networking, relationship building and lead generation, as well as the development and qualifying of leads provided from walk-ins during showroom floor days. Consulting with the client in the showroom to understand and develop their needs, budget, initial design concepts, and pricing is performed during the first showroom visit. Securing the design retainers, performing the preliminary on-site client visit to accurately measure and determine project parameters and scope will be your next step. With the help of our staff you will create and prepare floorplans, elevations and 3D renderings using Auto Cad and Chief Architect and pricing for each project. You will initiate and present written design proposals and contracts. Our sales associates see the project through from initial design phase to final payment with the help of our support staff. You are responsible for the accuracy of the design, pricing, ordering and implementation of the plan ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction. Our showroom is open 8:30-5:00 M-F and 9:00-2:00 Sat. Evenings by Appointment. Designers are required to keep 1-2 floor days per week and work a rotating Saturday schedule.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Associates Degree in Interior Design or Art or Equivalent
  • Minimum three to five years experience in residential kitchen cabinet sales
  • NKBA or NARI certification or education a plus
  • Individual must be proficient in Auto Cad, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working with high-end luxury products is helpful
  • A Strong sales personality with a smile is required. A willingness to work outside of normal business hours to attend networking opportunities for lead generation or to meet with clients is necessary for your ultimate success.
